You got a bad wheel berring in the rear. A mechanics stethoscope will be able to tell which one is bad.

It's not a bad job pulling the axles. I did both mine even tho only one was bad.

If you read his latest update the vibes move front the rear to front as he rotate the wheels so it must be a wheel or tire.

I think if the vibration has moved to the front with the tire rotations, you should replace the front tires or at least have them pull them off and inspect the inside. Maybe they're delaminating on the inside. They obviously have something wrong with them. Just a suggestion.

I hate to say this, but at this point I would take it to a dealer and see what they say. Not necessarily have them fix it, just see if they can figure it out...

Any chance you got someone that would swap wheels with you for a couple hours?

If the vibration varies from front to rear, I'd think maybe a bad tire. You could have a separation somewhere that's hard to see unless the tires are taken of and inspected.

They are telling me a U-joint needs replacing...

I have developed a clunk when going from reverse to drive recently. This one might make sense.

Put the emergency brake on, place in neutral. Motor off and get underneath the vehicle. Move the driveshaft up and down and rotate. There should be no movement, if there is then you have either a bad u-joint or slip joint. More than likely u-joint.

Also, if you rotated tires and the vibration moved from front to rear then you may have a radial belt broken or de-lamination. Only way to tell is take tire off and inspect unless you see a bulge on the outside, even if a small one. Tires with 50K miles are well used and easier to damage with normal driving.

They just showed me the u-joint. There is play in it. Since I’ve been getting clunking... might be it.

I still think a tire issue. I have 60k miles on the tires (only 2.5 years old). Might be worth taking the tires off to inspect.

Where do you feel the shaking in your seat? Or is the back Of the truck shaky?

The shaking in the rear is not in my seat, its back towrds the bed.

My steering wheel vibes but the vibrations aren’t felt in my driveline like they don’t cause problems with steering. Like the vibrations are visible looking at the wheel but I don’t feel it in my hands.

Shaking is only upon accelleration. It dissapears with decelleration. Over 55 mph its a hellish buzz that drives me nuts.

That's a drive line problem dude. Your tires and wheels don't stop spinning when you let off the accelerator, therefore... if it was your tires or wheels the vibes would remain. Replace your u-joints

Badly balanced tires would be shaking in the steering wheel (bad balance up front) or in the seat (bad balance in rear).

Good luck in fixing the problem. Have you curb checked anything pretty good? My brother has a double cab long bed and has a tendency to smack the rear tire on turns. He had some rear diff problems he had to get fixed.

This that and the other thing.
I know you keep saying that it is not drive line vibrations, but you don't feel drive line vibrations in the steering wheel. its an issue with your driveshaft angles/bad u-joint or bad slip joint causing the back of the truck to shake. if the vibrations were moving as they rotated the tires then when it shakes in the front, you would feel it in the steering wheel. if you have never felt any vibrations in the steering wheel then im betting it is driveline vibes and its something to do with your driveshaft. bad u-joints probably but could also be bad slip joint/carrier bearing.
