My daughter has a 2013 Tacoma TRD Sport DCLB. The mirror has a backup cam, direction and temp and I want to add a dash cam using a Dongar harness.

My stupid question is how do I access/remove the connector at the mirror. I assume it's under this half round cover on the back, but don't want to break anything because I will suredly get the business. I've checked the internet but can seem to find anything. A little help would be greatly appreciated. You all probably don't need it, but i attached a pic.

The connector is in the headliner above the overhead console, the overhead console is pretty easy to remove.

There is one screw above the rearmost sunglass holder and a few clips in the front, it can take a bit of force to get them to release.

Pull it towards the windshield. Also there shouldn't be any bolts connecting that piece to the mirror arm, so you can just push it off. Should have enough flex to press on/off
