    Stupid question but is this the correct placement of the mirror? I thought the tint/black pattern was to cut glare between the top of the mirror and the roof line. And it kind of blocks my field of view. I didn't notice it when I was test driving but kind of became apparent over time.

    Yup. It is too low from the factory. A lot of us have the @ImMrYo relocation bracket which moves it up about an inch or two.

    Does anyone know if the bird dawg spacer works with the safety sensor by the mirror? The spacer looks a little too wide to fit there. Also, what does that install look like?

    Think I read in another thread that it fits the 3rd gen, but not the electric mirror/safety sensor style...
