Just bought my truck a few months ago. The rear view placement is horrible. I feel like its to low. So my question is this. Is my mirror mounted on the window stock? Thanks

    Photos are needed.

The mirrors in these are pretty low, in my opinion. Then again the interior is slightly shorter (feeling) than a lot of other trucks. It's pretty easy to get used to. The Tacoma isn't the only vehicle like this on the market.

The mirror has 2 pivot points, push it up towards the roof.

This^^^ I did this and ended up having to lower it back down a little. This is one complaint about these trucks I don't have an issue with.

I looked at mine today, my 07 is mounted in the exact same spot. I flipped the dog leg and mirror upside down. It seemed to help. Since I have the clip on convex mirror, it doesn’t matter that the flip lever is inaccessible, or I should say difficult to access.
