rear view mirror removal

    I would like to remove the inside rearview mirror and leave it off, But, what is the best thing to do with the wires?

    i think they are required by most local laws...check them as someone else also stated, may not pass inspection

    Would that be only a requirement if you don't have left and right side mirrors? I know a lot of the trucks I drive have no review mirror since you can't see out the back window.

    Yeah it seems some states only require one mirror (don't specify it has to be internal) and a number of them specifically require two outside mirrors if the rear window is blocked. So for example if you have a tonneau cover folded up, like with a Bakflip, since the truck has a left and right mirror you are legal in all states.
