I'm leaking diff oil from the passenger rear hub. 70k miles on the new-to-me truck. Bearing is loud so I'm assuming it should be replaced. $370 for the OEM assembly is exorbitant. Local dealer says there is no part number for the bearing alone. Anyone have experience here?
    Thanks a ton!

The dealer is right. The hub and bearing are one assembly.

Surely there is a way to pull the bearing from the assembly and press in a new one as with the 05-15s? The '15 bearing is $70.

I'm coming from Land Cruisers - full float and easy.

It's pretty common on 2nd gen and probably will be more so with 3rd gens going forward. You can get everything here and do it yourself. This is for both sides, which most owners do even if one is bad.

Also, i would check that your rear diff breather isn't stuck closed.

Yep. Thanks! Breather checked and functioning. I'll extend it soon.

Those appear to be front bearings but I'll reach out to the OP. Thanks again!

Did you do this on a 3rd gen truck or on a 2nd? Lowrange and Nitro say that the part doesn't carry over from '15. Parts catalog seems to indicate that it does. <scratches head>
    Thanks for the continued help.
