Rear Wheel noise

Howzit guys,
My '04 Tacoma driver's side wheel is making a high-pitched squealing noise. It occurs in forward and reverse, and at very low speed as well as highway speed. What do you think this is? Brakes? Wheel bearing? It has 111000 miles on the original brakes so my guess is that, but I'm curious what the general consensus is.

What do your brakes and rotors look like?

Did you lift the car and shake the wheel yet?

Post pics if you are unsure of what you are looking at

 

I haven't done any of that yet, just started a week or so ago. I'm waiting for my parts to do a 3 in lift in the next couple of weeks so was going in there anyway. I guess I can try that tomorrow. Thanks.

Hate to see ya install that lift and then be bummed that something else needs attention

 

Yeah, thanks! Was thinking the same thing, pocket is a little light currently, if you know what I mean.

 

lift the rear off the ground and see if the D/S wheel is as easy to spin as the P/S. Sometimes the rear shoe auto-adjuster over adjusts and maybe you are dragging that sides shoes. If this is the case you need to replace the brake spring hardware to prevent the over-adjusting issue.
