This happens alot with Tacoma's. The brake cable is siezed up. You'll need new ebrake cable(s) to remedy the issue.

You said in your post you normally use your e-brake on every park: That's good practice: It will help keep the cable from seizing up within the sheathing from prolonged non-use.... (That's likely not your problem: Truck is too new.) Except: when you have been driving in frozen slop, snow, just got a car wash or in rain when it's near freezing and certain to drop well below freezing overnight. Then you face two problems: shoes stuck to the drum, or in older trucks: cable stuck somewhere because water has intruded into the cable sheath. Might even be rotors stuck to the pads. The first: you may be able to move/rock it and break the shoe away from the drum: I would try reverse in 4L first, as others have advised and then 4H and then rock in 2H,4H and 4L. Be prepared for an impressive "clunk" or bang when it lets go: like you backed into a rock. If none of this works, a tow truck may be able to pull back a little in neutral to see if that works. Just make sure he takes it easy: you don't want to break cold things in there (drums). If that fails, see if you can get it towed to a heated garage. You should be on your way in a hour. (about the same time a frozen fuel line takes to thaw: been there.) I live in the northeast. I apply my e-brake everytime I park except if it has been snowing, frozen rain storm or sloppy roads covered in wet snow. If I hear a blowing snow storm is coming I leave the ebrake off too: even if I havn't or am not going to be driving it.

Sounds like your rear brakes are frozen. Didn't read comments so I'm not sure what was suggested, but jack the vehicle up and remove the tires and hit the brakes with a mallet.

    Hey all,

Thank you all for the response, I finally got it towed to a local Toyota dealer in Tahoe(Jim Bagan Toyota)
Got my truck defrosted, and everything works fine, back to normal. They are super nice and reasonably priced.
Lesson learned: don’t ever put your E break on in the cold weather, especially when you have a six inch lift, it increases the tension on the break cable.
Thank you all for helping, travel safe

Thanks brah, I tried all that, I had five folks tried to rock my truck and make it work, but I think I was just really out of luck that night. Tips from the dealer, don’t ever put my E break on in the cold weather.

Yeah, just got my truck back. Road Condition is still pretty bad if you are planning on coming up this way. But there’s so much pow, I’m happy that I got stuck here!

Good to hear you're all good, OP!! Were you stuck there all this time? Weather was gnar. Were you able to hit the slopes while stranded?
