Oh I wasn't trying to be smart. You're just the first person to actually use the search function to find what it is you're looking for. Ever.

I'm gonna mention it to the dealer the next time I take it in for an oil change. And take a picture the next time it happens............

You'd think the rear windows of all models would be the same, and I never had this problem on my '05 Access Cab............

I noticed that mine is coming out of the slider too. It seems to be a problem with almost all of them.

It's not the slider, it's the molding around the main part of the window.............

According to the OP, they were worse after the dealer replaced them. Mine is not that bad and I don't think it will cause water damage. It looks more like a window trim than seal. Not sure though, have to look at it better. It does look like they put putty in it to hold it tight to the door. I thought it was the dealer, but now i'm wondering if it came from toyota like this:confused:

Mine is not the window in the door. It is the rear window. Next to the slider. Not the slider. The area right behind and above the rear passenger on the passenger side. The trim is up behind/next to the ceiling carpet. When it's fully pushed up , it is in the gap between the window and the ceiling carpet.

I need to take a picture..................

Finally took my truck in abouut the rear window seal. They have ordered me a whole new window and seal/trim. All under warranty. I also had the new new blower TSB done and they ordered the part for the steering column TSB.
