Rear Window Shattered, Replacing with slider

Thank you for all of the help so far. I can figure most things out but went into this with very little experience with automotive electronics other than a head unit sand was flying blind on this so I really appreciate all the diagrams you found and for all the help. Are they from the Toyota maintenance manual for the tacoma and how do you access it? The tech who helped me confirm the mechanical parts told me it was only available via a subscription so I couldn't look at it myself. The screenshots you provided are super helpful and wondering if there is a way too access it.

 

That would be incorrect. The straighten brass taps go between the relay and the base. So you'd ID correctly the #2 pin on both relays, insert the tap and replace the relay to it's base.

Remember that terminal #5 on both relays are always energized. You could remove the fuse before you go removing the relays.

 

Use for more space between fuse/relay box cover and relay terminal taps.

 

Oh, I see now. That makes sense. I'm going to do a bit of research/prep on routing wires and hooking into connectors and then will add them.

Use a pair of Posi-Taps to the MESO MAP Light harness.
