Rear window trd off road

Does the 2024 trd off road no longer have a sliding rear window?

 

mine has an automatic rear window

 

Depends on if it has the upgrade package or not. My base model offroad does not have a rear slider. Upgrade packages have the slider

 

That’s probably in the ebrochure. A lot of the base models have a single glass pane (which I prefer). The sliding window is bundled into some option packages. Strange it isn’t standard for 2024.

 

I guess I don't have it. That's crazy. I have a larger touchscreen and heated seats. Oh well.

 

You have a picture of your window sticker? I’m curious how you got the 14” console but no sliding rear window.

 

I dont have the truck yet, due next week. I didn't see it listed on the sticker. I also don't remember auto on off high beams, which my 2023 had

Agree, but I didn't pay extra for the slider window and auto high beams on my 2023. Somewhat disappointing but not preventing me to pick it up when it arrives.

 

It does in Canada with the base OR MT. There’s no add-on packages in the Great White North except for Premium which is only available with the OR AT.

 

More disappointed. No power driver seat without the 4k upgrade package? I did not realize this. The window who cares, power seat with ability to move up and down a necessity. Can anyone please say I'm wrong?

 

You can have the same equipment that came standard on the 3G, but it will cost you $4K for the "Upgrade Package."

 

Crazy, cause the sticker was already 5.5k over my 2023. 2023 was 40180, power sear, power rear window, auto high beams. I should have looked into this further, didn't realize my bare bones 2023 trd off road would have stuff the 2024 would not.

 

It’s hard to give up basic features, knowing that you paid out a lot more money. Even if the new one drives better, that’s the kind of stuff that eventually gets under your skin, and tempts you to trade it off early.

Maybe consider punting on this particular truck. There’s a lot of inventory and 2025’s are coming soon. You’ve got a high-value trade, so source another one already on the ground, and get a discount.

 

My truck got totaled by an idiot. Need one now unfortunately. Toyota screwed all of us on this one. Come on toyota wtf

 

That’s the rub on Gen4. Prices went up, while standard features were trimmed and thrown into packages. Unless you pay the dealer full-boat, you might have to decide what items you can live without. Just like the domestics, Tacoma prices run high, but dealer discounts are now expected. Good luck.

I was able to get 3500 off sticker, and a 450 doc fee. Im transferring platrs so no registration fee. Thats the best I could do in a pinch on a trd off road manual transmission. Sticker was 45575.

 

It is seriously lame, pay more for less. Trying to make a case in my heart to buy another Toyota, but I dunno…

 

My new OR with the Premium package is a frigging spaceship.
