Decided I didn't like the measly layout of my left hand buttons on the console. The traction control button on my SR is off doing it own thing when I think on my 2016 SR5 Taco it was on the roof/ceiling.

Anyway, I've got some Caliraised fogs and a new "tall" style button coming soon so I decided to start rearranging things.

Left button console can be removed easily with a plastic pry by applying pressure here:

Should look something like this when you get it out:

If you look closely you'll see that there are individual tab layouts for each stock button with accordance to its functionality. I'm assuming this is some kind of QA thing so assemblers don't make any mistakes. However, it makes it hard to move buttons around if you don't like the layout:

I need to remove these tabs in order to move the button around without interference. Removing these tabs makes very little change in the functionality in the button. They fit fairly snug with or without these tabs. A good utility knife makes short work of the plastic:

Decided to make use of the plastic plug in the missing bed light toggle switch and make a little cubby. Not sure what to put in it, but hey, its there now:

    Kinda silly, but whatever:

Current configuration before I probably decide to change it again:
