You're saying by pivoting the mirror? I'm talking about the riser the other guy mentioned that you can buy.

Now that we have that out of the way, did anyone else also remove the center headrest from the back row? The first two changes I made on the truck after the test drive were to move the mirror up and take that headrest out so I could actually see behind me.

There has been people that have busted their windshields adjusting so don't go too crazy. You may have already adjusted it. Look from the side and compare to the diagram in this thread. It's a rather unsatisfying adjustment if you ask me, but it does help a tad.

Seriously? That's rhetorical, I believe you, but seriously?

I would spend the rest of my day angry drinking.

An additional option on vehicles without a compass in the mirror is to spin the mirror 180 degrees.
This can give an additional bit of rise to improve your line of sight under the mirror while still allowing the manual dimming feature to be operated from the top.
I’ve done this on a few new vehicles over the years.

I am not making fun of anybody here, but I have been using both pivots in all my cars for the past 30yrs. I get that some cars only have a single pivot these days. Those usually have the mirror mounted vertically off the overhead console.
