    ask and you shall receive

pic 1: location of dashcam, showing power routing into the headliner
pic 2: headliner bulge in the top left, really not bad
pic 3: neither dashcam nor bulge really noticeable from driver's seat

I'm just realizing now maybe you meant pics of the actual unit lol. Didn't grab any but I can certainly snag one later tonight. it's not huge by any means. I'll also see about grabbing a better pic of the bulge closer up a little later today. at the office now

Thanks for the info, is there an update on a purchase link? I'm not finding a mirror to dashcam adapter for a 2nd gen anywhere.

So there isn't exactly a link to purchase the initial units yet. I had just reached out to the seller through Amazon, however he has a website to that you can use to reach out, there's some contact info on there.

Just confirmed that Dongar Technologies is working on 2nd gen version to have something ready by the end of the month.

They have the unit in stock and it works like a charm. The backup cam and everything works like it supposed to and it comes with the shorty mini Usb cable for my Garmin mini.

You take off the plastic retaining bracket that covers the wire. It most likely has the plug tucked in the headliner so you gently pull down on the headliner and pull the wire to get to the connection. Then you disconnect it and plug the Dongar into the plug and the opposite side into the mirrors plug, which leaves you the usb to plug in the usb for your back up cam. Tuck it all back in and replace the plastic retainer. It’s really simple like 5 minutes tops.
