Is it me or are our rearview mirrors kinda low on the Tacoma? I just feel like it's in my way all the time.

If he turns it upside down, then the view would be upside down. I certainly wouldn't be able to handle that one.

The whole ceiling is low. That's just life when you want to minimize rollover risk on a high-clearance vehicle.

Doesn't that mess with the mirror dimmer part of the mirror (for lack of better words).

I felt the same when I first got my truck but I guess I've gotten used to it as it doesn't seem to bother me now .

You cant do the flip upside down trick with the auto dimming mirror. I dont believe his 2007 basic prerunner has the auto dimming mirror.

haha, good point. Either way it doesn't even turn around that far. Does anyone else have this issue? someone must have got some lubricant inside the piece where it bends.

i have articulated the arm from the glass to its highest position then tilt the dimmer thing till it tilts up that little bit. That does it for me but not that tall anyways. i don't use the dimmer cause the cap is so tinted.

Take your mirror and push it up, they pivot upward, i just found this out recently and its alot better, it may take some force, but it will go higher
