So…I don’t make it a habit to watch Lifetime…but I am married and it’s (unfortunately) often on. Like yesterday, when my wife was watching some shit she’d seen a hundred times already.

During a commercial break, this glorious machine shows up in an upcoming “Lifetime original movie:”

So many questions.
- Is it a member’s truck made famous?
- Did Hollywood see the Hot Wheels and go “we want that?”
- Did someone ask “what looks jeep-ish but is actually practical, functional, and believable?”
- Does this character actually use the RTT?

My truck is in a Hallmark Christmas movie that was filmed this summer. I was working as an extra and you get a bit more cash if you bring a vehicle. I drove it through "town" a few times but then they chose some different vehicles for later shots because mine was too "prominent" looking.

My neighbor has a pair of classic VW busses that he rents out for movies and photo shoots, but it’s his POS ‘82 GMC truck that was in the CW shit show Walker Texas Ranger.

 

She looks so out of place in that thing
