I wanted to “Customize” my TRD OR tailgate and wanted to do something a little different. I thought about the full blackout treatment and decided it didn’t work for my tastes. I also thought about full debadging and that didn’t suit me either. I have narrowed my choices down to two options and have the new badges in hand. What do you guys think?

For me that’s not an option.

I think the TRD without the V6 badge looks better.

I like the first. The second is too symmetrical for me. Both good though.

Just took off my v6 badge and trd side stickers. I prefer mine to look like that

I plan on debadging mine. But I think some letter inserts that match your color scheme would bring it together nicely.

That was my thought too ... I was initially going after the Pro look but not 100% sure.

If we're moving badges around, I'd put the "TRD" on the left, and "4x4" on the right. As a name, "TRD" should (IMO) come before the precise specification, e.g. "TRD Pro." Not all TRDs are 4x4, so it makes sense to specify "4x4" on the right side.

Since all TRDs (at least for 2019 in US Market) come with the V6, the V6 badge could be left off without neglecting any information.

How about swapping the 4X4 to this.

I also added the black overlays and a retro toyota badge but it would also work with your TRD badge alone.

Ditch the V6 badge, first thing I did. Not sure why Toyota felt it was noteworthy

I prefer the TRD badge without the V6 badge, but it's entirely up to you.
I got rid of mine and left my tailgate blank. I like the clean look, personally.
