Do you guys think these coiloevers are save able? Just got truck with them already there. They are about five years old.

I really don’t care about looks. I am just wondering if I can hit them witha wire wheel, spray the coils and have the shocks rebuilt. Or send them as is? Actually, I have a local shop that may be able torebuild. They are leaking and basicallybottom out on the bump stops on everyspeed bump.

It’s all surface rust, this isa Hawaii truck, not salt-belt level rust.

The springs can be replaced. The threads on the body look rough. Pull the coilover out and see what the shop says.

New springs, body, rebuild kit, shock oil, and should be good to go.
