My 2018 Tacoma finally succumbed to the fuel pump issue that had a recall notice a while back. My dealer seems clueless about it and keeps talking about checking the high-pressure fuel pump when the recall clearly states low-pressure fuel pump. And they're telling me the part is "sold out nationwide" and they're trying to get one from another dealer. So I'm trying to see if I can find the part - since this "2 hour replacement" has now stretched out over 2 days.

When I search for the part online I'm finding five different fuel pump assemblies even when filtering by Year, Trim, and Transmission (2018/TRD/AT), but none are described as "low pressure" or "high pressure."

Does anyone here happen to know the specific part number that the 20TA02 fuel pump recall is supposed to replace?

Thank you - that's exactly what I needed. Part # for a 2018/TRD/AT low pressure fuel pump is 77020-04090 for future reference if anyone needs it.

Updating to add that I finally got a straight answer from the dealer. The Toyota part numbers they need to complete this recall are 04009-86531 and 04009-81730.

Of course, 5 years after this recall started, the parts are on back-order so they can't guarantee when they'll get the parts. in hindsight, I should've ordered the one from Rock Auto and just replaced it myself.
