RECALL NOTICE: Check your Kidde Brand Fire Extinguishers

I went thru a similar ordeal . I finally got an email that my second unit will be here on the 30th . I asked for 2 on the day after the recall Nov 3rd ?, received the first in 2 weeks or so , now the second coming after several calls . Keep calling and do not believe all they tell you . I am sure they are overwhelmed and trying to spread it out over time after all they need to replace many years of sales .

Same situation, called gave #'s and still waiting for Kiddy fire ext., been 5 months.
Will have to just go and buy new fire ext. and call it a loss cause.

Did my thing on line. One of my three extinguishers fell under recall. Received replacement in 5 days. Packaged and returned old one, per instruction with prepaid shipping label. All good! Thanks Kidde.
