Receiver door control

Anyone have a failed receiver door control - small white box inside and above the glove box mounted on a metal bracket to the front of the dash and in the airbag wire harness there. Your key remote FOB talks to this box to open/close door locks. Toyota part # 89741-04010 and they are list at $700 and low at 400 but even ebay has none.
Is there any other reason the FOBs randomly work as both have new batteries and it started at 10 years old on a 2009. Key in door still works on all lock/unlock functions. Thanks.

If you find the receiver is at fault, I still have the one from my 05' part out - keys as well.

Was toying with putting in power locks/windows/mirrors in the RC, but decided against it. Manual all the things!

 

Put a new battery in the remote that was flakey and no improvement. Got my old more used spare remote same thing.
So wondered why no one had reported bad receivers so ordered a used Toyota remote for $14 with new battery from eBay, did the long ridiculous add a remote, and it works now.

Sorry mine was OK and I never did find one on ebay.
I tried to find Tacoma's that were wrecked by looking for used mags and if they had a wrecked truck pic sent them an email and still no unit.
