    He's talking about the amount of space between the visor and the window. You have the low profile version that tend to be more flush compared to the older versions that "bubbled" out more.

    One thing to remember having in-channel visors, is to take them out every few months to clean both them and the tracks. The grime buildup can get quite bad.

    oh ok. When I installed them, they were so close to the window that when it rolled up the window would rollback down. The on the site, they look as if it is flush with the window.

    No brainer. Look around you, most surface mount visors are broken and or cracked. Furthermore you have to glue them on to your paint????

    Never, ever have I had an issue with mine needing this????

    I've ran Surface Mounts long before in-channel existed. They only crack / break when the OE tape lets go. I usually strip the OE tape and apply some high quality 3M tape anyway. No problems with paint either. Same as removing emblems.
