    Yes I agree with this! I did this to mine but forgot to mention it. Makes cutting much easier and relieves stress in the corners

    No and you'll likely not see it again. The late 2000's Tacomas had even more cubbies.

    WoW! The OEM cubby is $200 and the door is another $50+. Sure makes the Amazon version a bargain.

    The cubby comes up used on ebay frequently, I'd grab a used one of those and a new door, personally.

    Very interesting self-help/improvement project. I'm not using the cubby on the passenger side with the knob turn lock for anything; I probably wouldn't use this cubby...but if the need ever arises...I might consider the OEM...buying used box on eBay and getting new door as suggested.

    Yea, could be doing the kilo of coke delete mod for sure. I've heard that one takes a while.
