I understand where you're coming from, but you deserve it either way.

Great idea, but i'm with alot of other people in the sense I don't care for the recognition just the ability to go have fun and play with fire. There are two types of pyros legal (Fire Fighting) and the other pyros (arsonists) in which you deserve to be shot.

I personally think its a terrible idea... might as well give the little icons to everyone then its one thing to serve for your country. But you might as well make them for doctors too then IMO they are twice as important as police officers and firefighters no offense.

The difference is police officers and firefighters put their lives on the line to save yours.

A doctor is not going to remove a mangled car from around your broken body.
A doctor is not going to rush to your house at a moments notice to protect your house from fire or rescue you from said fire or harm.

A doctor wont come to your aid during a home invasion.
A doctor does not enforce law and arrest those who endanger others.

And finally.... when you call 911, it's not a doctor who answers.

Yeah some people sure are stupid. Its cool to have opinions. But to say that if you give you to FF/POLICE then you might as well give them to everyone is just ridiculous.

Keep in mind this thread was started in late 2009, so it was revived after a year of being dead...

But what if people in the EMS field/hospital setting can choose to get the blue Star of Life as an icon?? That would be pretty cool for them.

Why shouldn't they get recognition. They are the ones that will directly come save you. Soldiers don't typically run into burning buildings to save your ass. x2 on a doctor/medical emblem though.

    x2

    Have some greenies to offset.
