Looking to get an alignment on my wrx. I know some places specialize in doing lowered vehicles. Lmk if any of you have any experience with some hop here.

Kind of a weird place to ask about your WRX, but the same principles apply pretty much no matter. First, you need to define what you're going to do with the car and what your goals are. If you've lowered a WRX, probably means you're interested in handling, but how far you want to go with it depends on what's important to you. If you're going to autocross it, you'll want a lot of negative camber front and rear and maybe even a tick of toe out in front. If you're just driving on curvy roads, then you might want to be a bit more conservative, but really, a WRX forum will likely be your best bet, and then find a great alignment shop that knows what they're doing - easier said than done but still doable. And then be prepared to have an alignment done, drive it for a while and then decide how you want to change it the next time. It's taken half a dozen alignments on my '88 911 to get it where I like it for how I like to drive it. The last one was after upgrading to high performance camber plates and racing ball joints, all for more negative camber in front. There are some great suspension books on Amazon as well, and I wish I had a link to the one I have. You can probably figure out a good one by the reviews.

Try island brake and alignment or auto customs. They both handle a lot of lifted and lowered vehicles

Nope. Just trying to get it within spec for recon.

Then any decent alignment shop should be able to do that. But do remember that being "in spec" doesn't mean much as there is always a range to whatever the "spec" is. You want a shop that will know which end of the range is best for you and why just being "in spec" is not good enough, even if that's your stated goal.

Hawaii is a bit different. Some shops won’t touch a modified suspension for an alignment in this island cause of the vehicle reconstruction permitting here.

Check out Scotty’s. He’s been doing all my lifted and lowered vehicles since the 90s.

I forgot to add that Goodyear in Kaneohe has done my alignment back to specs on modified vehicles for recon
