Currently getting 14/16 MPG city/highway. Wondering what I can do to increase that. Have installed KN cold air intake, some BF Goodrich All-Terrain 265/75 16, and front leveling kit.

Seems most here get 18 or at least 20mpg, what are some ideas?

I will add to that, don't use remote start (if equipped)
Stop reading random posts of above 20MPG claims,, they are not the norm, for V6, lifted 4x4 with A/Ts

Put eh dash display on "immediate MPG". Pay attention to what maximizes (do not chase that "30" ... you will go nuts) in situations ... entering freeway, on freeway, on side streets.

I can get more MPG by not powering through a road but coasting into a red light if possible to avoid a full stop. Or just letting the truck coast occasionally on a road when you know you do not need to accelerate.

Basically the skinny pedal kills MPG.

Put all-season tires on it (and maybe a chin strap).

I’ve run 3 different sets of tires on my 2016 SR5 AT and 2020 OR MT. Here is the hiway fuel economy I saw with each.

    P245/75r16 A/S: 24 mpg (SR5 DCSB V6 AT)
    P265/70r16 A/T: 18 mpg (OR DCSB V6 MT)
    LT255/85r16 E M/T: 16 mpg (OR DCSB V6 MT)

CAVEAT: some of the difference is due to the transmission, the chin strap, and a 1-2” lift on the OR.

EDIT: increased air pressure will also generally increase tire efficiency but it has limitations and draw backs. I run 30 psi in the P tires and 37 psi in the LT tires.

If oil change intervals become involved and pictures of fender damage asking if it is totaled ... then it will be officially Friday regardless.

From your 1st post you've spent quite a lot of $ already. Don't understand why your worrying about mpg with the things you've bought which don't contribute to better mpg. You bought a truck that is known for poor mpg. Suggest you just enjoy it or get something else. Like someone else said a Prius, or a Civic, or Corolla.

Everything you did to the truck didn't help the MPG.
The K&N didn't hurt it, but it didn't help it either.

Shedding weight and aerodynamics are 2 big factors. (aside from driving style)
You killed both those with a lift and larger tires.

Yup, it's related to the brake pedal just as much as the gas pedal..
