What is the brake rotor and pads of choice to replace stock? I still have some meat left, but the rotors are warped. Not bad driving around town. But driving down Mt Hood hwy that steering wheel gets a shaking!

Have you looked into the tundra upgrade. It’s well worth it and there are tons of post on here about it. If not, look at ebc greens. Obviously a little more than your Napa golds but pretty legit.

If you are driving down mountain sides just do the tundra upgrade. The larger rotors will save your you know what.

    * just saw you don’t have a first gen. Go with the ebc greens and rotors. They are awesome!!

Look into the sr5 forerunner swap. That’s what I’m planning on moving to here soon. It’s direct bolt on. The tundra you have to loose the dust shield (or cut it).

Check this out, it explains a lot:

Negative on EBC green stuff, that is an organic pad with the lowest operating temperature range and quickest to fade. Great on light weight cars, no so much on trucks.
