    All,

I will be receiving my ’73 FJ at the end of next month and was wondering what I should start purchasing since this will be my trail vehicle. First let me tell you about the FJ it’s a ’73 on 34”, it has a Chevy 327 camed to a 331. I already have a 3/8” chain and am considering a High Lift, winch with syn-rope, first aid kit and fire extinguisher. What else should I get? Any and all suggestions welcome including what brand ect.

    Thanks
    Schwartz

And here are some old pics of her, thats my budy in the front seat the day he picked her up

That front bumper looks like it'll get caught up on some stuff. I'd shorten it if possible.

    Sweet FJ!!!

The one thing I noticed - Where's the spare tire?
You might wanna get a rear bumper with a tire carrier and a spare tire if you don't already have one. A Hi-lift for sure.
Another reason to get a good rear bumper - is so you can use the hi-lift on it to lift the truck. The front bumper looks beefy enough to jack from.

If you're gonna put that thing through its paces and really rock climb with it - you might wanna think about underbody skid plating, rock sliders, diff guards, etc. And of course ....roll cage.

    Is it street legal?
