Do any of you have any recommendations for a place to buy a new camper shell. I'm having a hard time finding an exactly what I need on the used market so I want to start pricing things out for new. I would like to run some numbers online with my exact configurations. What are you guys recommending? Live in Long Beach but can travel a bit.

Mid-rise 6ft with windoors/sliders. Prefer single knob to open windows and rear. Mainly looking at the Leer 180

    Thanks!

I've worked with Randy the owner at Arrow a few times and have always been impressed by his customer service.
I know Goleta would be a bit of a drive but give him a call and see what he's got!

Fuller in Riverside has a good reputation. But I am sure you can find similar pricing and service closer to LB.

You might have better luck making a thread in the Southern California forum though.

Following this with interest - also looking for a mid-rise with windoors in SoCal for my DCLB. Used are a rare thing around here. Please let us (me) know what you end up getting and where.

DACO Shells in North Hills is very very good. They know their stuff and their installations are top quality. I live in Culver City, so about half way to them from Long Beach area but it'll be worth the trip. I bought a shell from then in '93 and then a new Snugtop four and a half years ago. I wouldn't go anywhere else, and when I got the recall notice for the rear brake, the folks at Daco took my shell off and stored it for me while the repair was being done and only charged a hundred dollars to take it off, store it and re-install.
