it lasts HELLA long. it's kinda pricey, think it's around $9, but it's worth it. I can only find them at Don Quijote in town. My advice is to get 2 and put them under your seat. chicks dig a guy with a good smelling car

I keep 1 under driver seat and 1 under passenger. Wal mart has them in pc also, but sell out quick. Don quijote in waipahu and pc has them also.

+1 on DIY. There is also a lot of good info in the audio section of the forums.

I got through to installing the lc7i and amp. I went with a kenwood xr-901-5 amp. Didn’t want to go past 70 watts with stock speaker wiring. I did the kicker tweeter with kicker ds speaker swap and now it’s amped and the more I listen to it, it’s not that great. I should’ve gone for a 2 way instead of three way. Looking to swap my door speakers to another brand after I get my sub setup. Having my box built by Mr. Marv but he seems to be busy, hope he’s alright.

Got the vents blowing cool air, this amp does get warm. But not hot to the touch. Looking to get seat spacers to give it more breathing room, plus I’m a short guy so it’ll help.

nice, i really needed one of those since my amp & sub is wired directly to the head unit but I just decided to start saving for a decent head unit. I feel like my head unit is restricting the sub cause 1) cheap shit. 2) not enough power to keep up. 3) CHEAP SHIT. lol i have the basic head unit that comes with the base Tacomas. I'm going to upgrade the head unit to run Apple Carplay and i want to play videos off the internet so i can wack off lydat in the parking lot LOL JK JK.

When you get your deck, I recommend getting the iDataLink Maestro installed also. It allows you to keep steering wheel controls and vehicle info. 778E79A0-FB36-41BB-9CEA-D8D898CF96B5.jpg

Lol. No worries. Yes, I need to clean it one of these days. In regards to the deck, if I’m not mistaken, other brands have a form of the gauges feature. Just gotta do some research. You will need the iDataLink maestro though.

I got everything from Crutchfield. Forgot how much I paid. I just remember it was an add on package deal that included everything needed for your vehicle.

Yes, that’s what I have. You’ll also need the appropriate harness. My truck used this harness.

    https://www.crutchfield.com/p_794HRRTO1/iDatalink-HRN-RR-TO1-Factory-Integration-Adapter.html

Suggest you go through the process on crutchfield of adding a deck, entering your vehicle info and take note of all the iDataLink model numbers. That way you make sure what you get is compatible.
