most people will recommend a non oiled drop in filter i.e AFE pro dry and removal of secondary filter

The secondary filter removal only helps the 4 bangers. I wouldn't even recommend the AFE drop it because I ran a AFE pro dry filter in my TRD intake and I would keep finding dirt past the filter.

It also causes the engine to run lean. Awesome.

Snorkeling that shit with a reusable filter (AFE, for example) will get you the best MPG by far. Everything else is pretty much noise.

The Volant kit makes the engine run rich. You don't gain power that you will feel or MPGs that you will notice just by adding an intake. I have a good TRD intake. It makes noise. That's it. We have been trying to tell you thins in the whole thread but you don't seem to get it. Do as you want though.
