Backspacing vs offset, metric vs inch. 285/75r16 is close to a 33/12.5r15. Generally 4” backspacing and 8” wide wheel with 33’s will keep your tires off the upper control arms. Then it’s flattening the pinch weld and possibly seeing some frame rub at the back of the wheel well. The wider the wheel/more minus the offset/smaller the backspacing the more likely your tires will rub the fender at the back of the wheel well

I’m on 32s and I still rub occasionally depending on grade/ angle I’m hitting. It’s like nails on a chalkboard to me at this point

    6" lift, Cooper 33's
Lift it 6" and run 33"s with no prob. As for stance, you'll get that with a 33, pretty much regardless or backspacing or offset. I'm not huge on stance for tacos, but I will say and 8 or 10 wide looks great. Just not a 12 or 14, or you'll have trouble turning.
