    i have a 03 taco with a 3 inch coil spacer and 265/70/17 nitto terra grapperls. i wanna lift it a little bit more. anybody kno how high i should go before it looks like my tires are to small on my truck. i was thinkin about a 3 inch body lift or longer coil overs.

    Body lifts are guys with 1500 Chevrolet 4x4's with steering pumps that whine and a fat wife and kids riding shotgun.

    I'm thinking coilovers. :D

    Theres so many things wrong with a body lift, the only response youre gonna get here is to go with the coilovers

    If you want a better ride, switch out the spacers for new struts/coils or a coilover. As far as more height, anything above 3 inches is dropped bracket lift territory. Try check out different DB lifts online- fabtech, pro comp...But note that with any DB lift you lose front differential clearance, so it's mainly for looks.

    at 3", 265/70 look alright. Some people like bigger, some people are fine with going from 265/70 to 265/75, just to add a tiny bit of size. But generally, from 3-6" it's too small and people upgrade to 285/75.

    And as far as the original question goes, theres tons of different coilovers out there, depends on your price range.
    Cheap= Toytec's coilover
    Expensive= Kings or Fox or Icon Coilovers.

    ya i dont have a huge price range right now. its gonna be somethin i gotta save for. but i dont wanna beat a round the bush. when i buy somethin for my truck i buy the best. i reckon ill just have to wait and save for good coilovers
