I am so bummed out. Exactly 3 weeks after bringing my new baby home I get rear ended.

I think it’s just the bumper so things could be worse but it sucks none the less.

    Anyone beat three weeks?

Had a brand new motorcycle shipped from Texas to me here in Washington. Waited a couple weeks, was so excited. 3 days. 124 miles. Dude hit me and totaled it. I was fine. Bike was destrolished. Shit happens

I had a body/collision repair owner tell me that silver cars seem to get hit more than any other. This guy knows his stuff too because he's been in business for decades and works on exotic cars as well as everyday driver cars. He's the go to place around where I live.

He also said white cars are a close second to silver cars. Claims they must be harder to see. This was close to 10 years ago. Current day distracted driving has since made everything worse nowadays I'm sure of it.

Move to Rural Nova Scotia, no traffic. A traffic Jam here is waiting for 2-3 cars to drive by while sitting at a stop sign to get onto the secondary highway

Also the fact that military's around the world use white, gray and/or silver to make aircraft hard to see in the air. I think it's called countershading.

Same thing in nature with sharks and other fish.

My good friend picked up his brand new Lotus, left the dealership, hit a slick patch on the interstate onramp, and it was in the shop for almost a year waiting on parts and bodywork.

While I agree silver can blend in, silver and white are the most popular colors by far. That alone would account for this.

I knew a guy that got hit leaving the dealership lot right after signing paperwork on his Honda, pulled out right into traffic. So I don't think you hold the record, but sucks none the less.
