    I'm lazy. I just toss them in the bed. They stay there pretty much 24x7 because I never know when I might find something to explore. They are relatively light and don't make a lot of noise. The hi-lift jack and winching accessories on the other hand... they make a huge racket. I only bring those on long trips. Some sort of mount would likely be a good investment.

    Eventually ill get something more permanent. But its hard to justify it with it working fine. Would be alot cleaner though

    just moved to wilmington,nc and there's a lot of beaches you can drive on. I only have an SR with no hitch in the back. What would be some ideal recovery gear before i go get stuck in the sand? Where is the front recovery point?

    couldn't find anything in the service manual

    Get the Kinetic (bungie like) straps. Much less dangerous if the strap breaks...
