Engine whine is likely a poor ground.

Hiss is usually a noisy component.

Thanks. I regrounded and got rid of the whine. The hiss is still present. I just got a ********* email support started to help me trouble shoot the hiss.

    Thanks

Sweet, good to hear you got that knocked out. Engine whine is maddening!

LC7i in my setup, no hiss or whine. Thought about the recurve but that thing is HUGE

I wanted the recurve for the added equalization control. But I have to keep the input sensitivity so low due to the hiss that I am not getting half of what I should out of my amp. What is your set up? I have the Kenwood xr900 amp a pioneer 10 shallow mount sub and JL speakers in the doors.

70% that's a lot of gain right there.
