2019 SR Base. My red brake light came on twice along with the Very loud warning noise.First time was 2 months ago and 2nd was Sunday. Just out of the blue and no one in front of me.
Is this a problem with the sensor behind the grill?

Mine did that too quite frequently. There would be no cars in front of me and I wasnt speeding too fast either. I did the recall tss pcs and have not had this issue since. I am not sure if the recall fixed this or not but no problems since.

There is a recall/bulletin for certain trucks. If yours is an early build you may need it. Call the dealer or run your VIN on the toyotaowners website and see if it shows.

This one? Did the truck brake or did just the light come on?
Maybe just the E-Brake isn't all the way down?

It did it again last night coming home from work. Same exact place as before. The traffic lights at the Interstate have a camera? radar sensor? not sure but twice at the exact same location? Going to call TXDOT this morning and find out what they are.Parking brake is down all the way. This is the warning light between the gauges.
    Thanks
