Yeah, so @Airmain already payed for his truck and I'm about to pay for mine. I put a note in my paypal with our names and said I had a team of 3 for the registration. I'm assuming @Overland_Tennessee has some magic way of grouping us.

I should build him a site for next years event so people can register their vehicles + create and join teams.

We will just have to wait for Zack to chime in here. Or if you have the Groupme app then you could ask on there.

See that is what I don't understand, do you have to pay for each vehicle or if you are a team with two trucks, you just pay for 1 vehicle?

    So not sure.

Ok awesome. So I am down to have other people on our team with more trucks, would be good to have more hands on deck.

Agreed! I am always down to hit up some trails. Not many that are free around here, best one that is close is Barnwell Mountain.

Am I ok I would definitely like to go.

How much extra gas should I bring?

Doubt they will need a snorkel for water crossings.

I plan on having at least an extra 5 gallons on the truck at a minimum, more than likely 2, 3 gallon rotopax.

Yeah, I was probably going to bring 5 gallons of extra gas. Not sure where I'm going to put it though, don't have a jerry can holder any where.

I have CB, I need to do my HAM stuff and get a HAM in the truck, just keep forgetting to do that.

    What about you?

Sweet, yea, I plan on getting HAM this year, would be nice to have both for the trails and all the travelling that I will be doing.

Dooo it! Super easy for tech license. I did a HAM cram, basically 8 hours + test for $20 bucks and didn't miss a question. I want ot get my general, maybe i'll do that before the rally.

Where did you do it at? There is a local course for me I think.

You have a handheld or mounted HAM radio?

Got a handled with better antenna right now but been looking over the threads for mounting a radio in the truck for the 3rd gens. I've been able to hit things 50+ miles away with my handheld so it does the job and is good for people who don't wanna spend a few hundred bucks to get a mounted one.

Edit: I registered for a local HAM club's cram. Found it online.
