    Always pay your bountys.
    Also don't stow a lot of pelts on your horse because if you die on your way to a trapper you lose the pelts. :anonymous: The legendary ones end up in the trappers inventory but you won't make any money on the pelts.
    I feel that the mechanics of the game are more complicated than the original. The dueling and the out right shooting. Maybe it's because I haven't played RD since 2010 or it's just my character isn't very familiar with the guns as that effects shooting as well. I'm also used to back and forth fast travel and only having it available out of the gang camp really slows the games pace. It forces you into more random encounters though so I guess that's the purpose.

    Into Chapter 2 as well, died like 10 times trying to get down the ledge to the 2nd gang treasure map. The visuals are spectacular, agree on the controls being clunky. GTA was so easy to toggle weapons etc RDR2 not so much.

    Yeah.
    Controls are definitely a bit quirky, but luckily I haven't accidentally shot anyone (yet). I have barely bumped into someone in town on my horse and got turned in for assault -- $25 to pay it off seemed pretty cheap, but not when you only have $100. Not sure how I will pay off the $300 bounty in that other region. Nice graphics, but the game is a bit slow moving right now.

    My first incident with the clunky controls was when the guy was setting up explosives in one of the missions and instead of talking to him I accidentally shot the explosives and killed both of us as well as my horse...

    Surprisingly close to the horseshoe overlook camp. I am drawing a blank of the name of the exact location on the map, but right where you meet the explorer pretty much looked right down on it, once you find it the map is quite literal on how to find the 2nd map, you have to descend from the top like the map shows. Ill post a screen shot of the location when I get home.

    I just picked up my copy of ultimate edition yesterday, and played a solid 5 hours! :D I'm loving it so far, I agree the controls are a bit confusing but I think after playing more I won't have to think so much. I'm only on Chapter 2 but I've also been exploring around a bit and taking my time.
