RDR2 made $725 million in the first three days. That's a lot of gold bars.

 

hold it down and youll go to cinematic mode. also if you set a way point on the map and you hold it down it will automatically go to the way point without any steering you just have to press x

Yeah I've used the cinematic. Personally I like running across the map and seeing what I encounter without being on auto pilot. I've found all kinds of neat stuff because I dont follow the same path the game tries to tell me to.

 

Well I finally played a little bit of the game. It's pretty cool, I enjoyed the fact that when I delivered a near fatal blow to a deer it left a bloody trail where it could be finished off. My only complaint is the amount of time it took to get from unboxing to playing. I haven't bought a video game in years so I had to buy a current generation gaming device so I picked up a PS4Pro. I got to update the device twice then install the game which took another couple of hours. Also, where's the start button on the controller? Remember the good old days when "Start" was pause for all games? There were controllers that had sliders that would allow you to put the game in slow motion by clicking start automatically in rapid succession.

 

In open world games I almost always rely on waypoints and follow them. In this game so far I've found myself looking on the main map to where the point I need to get to is and then just following roads and trails that head in that direction. Might take longer, but I'm enjoying it.

 

I do this and am usually going so fast that I've almost ran my horse off a cliff. So far so good but it's been a close call.

 

just when I thought I was done the game..... son of a bitch.

 

I really need to be careful with these buttons. Went to pay a bounty off and accidentally hip fired my pistol and managed to head shot the postal clerk...before I could pay.

 

I took the time to go all the way up to get the white Arabian horse. I saw it the first time but as I followed him up the hill I got surrounded by 6 wolves. I got three but was killed. I rode around for 30 minutes and it never respawned.

 

I went up there for the horse, and came across the legendary bison. I end up shooting it, and it decides to run into the lake, dies, and sink so I wasn’t able to skin it or anything. I want bummed out until I got to notification that the pelt was at the trapper already. Never did find the horse after going around in circles up there though

 

Anybody else seem to be effected by the bug that makes some of the gang members disappear from camp after the mission in Chapter 2 where you go to Valentine with Uncle and the three girls in the wagon ?

 

I didn't notice it on XBOX.

I did the sheriff gold glitch just to try it and it worked. Got 30 bars so I could update my camp for the fast travel and outfitted my horse and ammo. Even with money most of the guns are still locked out in part 2.

 

I think I may have. John is in my camp and I can talk to him whenever, when I haven't seen Abigale or Jack. I didn't even notice until I heard about the bug and then realized and by then I think it was too late to fix it. I read that the unofficial fix is to talk to all three of them in your camp before doing any missions in the beginning of chapter 2. They do still appear in missions/cut scenes that they're supposed to be in; just can't interact with them at camp.

 

I sucked the venom out of some snake bitten drifter

....felt dirty, yet heroic.

then looted him

 

I've run into ol' prisoner man twice, wondering what's to come from him..

 

I gave him some medicine, not dirty and heroic.

I shot him. Saved the early taxpayers some money.
