Red Dead Redemption 2

I’ve met two prisoners. The first I shot dead in cold blood. The second, I shot his chains, he told me about somewhere to rob, and then I shot him in the back of the head as he was walking away.

I got a chuckle out of it.

He's probably telling you to rob the pig farm. I don't think that the prisoner has to tell you in order to visit the pig farm.

 

I stumbled across the pig farm just by chance.

 

Bagged the legendary Fox last night and a few more legendary fish. Tried getting a perfect western diamond back skin, that is proving to be tough. Snakes have F1 speed in the game, they cover an insane amount of ground when you track them. Robbed a few coaches, paddled around Flat Iron lake for like 2 fucking hours just cause I wanted to open that spot on the map.

 

I found a cabin with a rod and reel leaning against it and I wasn't able to pick it up. Do you have to advance far enough into the game to learn fishing?

 

there is a chapter 2 mission where you learn fishing.

 

I think it is early in chapter 4 where a bait shop opens up just outside Saint Denis in the swamp, once that does you can buy special lake,river, and swamp lures. You need those to easily catch the legendary fish. There is a side mission in camp in chapter 2(I think) where you take John's son fishing also the first time you run into the Pinkerton guy. You can start fishing right after that. At least that is what triggered the rod in my satchel

 

I think the bait shop is open prior to chapter 4. I got excited when I saw it thinking I could buy some rods, reels, etc. They only sold bait and I was a bit disappointed.

 

Very possible I did not do a lot of exploring/opening of the map early, so Saint Denis was not opened on my map until I started chapter 4

 

Yup, mission in Chapter 2 to unlock the rod. I just did it the other day.

 

I've pretty much exclusively done wandering. But from the sounds of it I need to branch out and do more main missions.

 

Ha, I'm going the opposite I started off doing missions and the white mapped side quest characters. Now I am slowing that down to explore, hunt, fish and the occasional side mission. I dont worry about $ too much I have a little over $3600 the group camp is fully maxed out, I have every decent unlocked gun. I also noticed that trapper locations dont automatically pop up on the map but by exploring more I have opened a few more in good hunting territory north of Strawberry.

 

I came across a mutilated body hanging from a bridge last night, graffiti on the rock next to it. Meant to SS it but forgot to. It let me track the blood trail but couldn't turn up any clues as to who did it.

 

Loving this game! Going after the Arabian tonight. I heard he's a real fighter!

 

I must of got lucky there the first time I mounted it I got bucked off, real shitty riding for a former rodeo guy. The second time she got stuck next to a rock and I really did not have to do much other than sit on her and wait.

 

It’s the serial killer side missions. It pretty fun you have two more bodies to find.

 

You have to match the right weapon to the animal you are hunting and get a clean kill. I think snakes are small game arrows and use dead eye to get a headshot. You can track them if they scurry off. Having the buck antler trinket also helps a lot.

 

The Legendary Coyote is nearby as well. Just head north.

 

I've tried for the coyote several times. Every time I enter the territory either a gang is holding a guy up or something else prompts the message come back when there's less activity.
