It's been hard for me to play after that. I really want to start a new game and not progress the story.
It's a real depressing ending with no justice for Arthur

Same, chapter 2 and just exploring. I need more guns though. Still really getting a hang of the controls and ins and outs of combat and all that.

I killed the first swarm of the night men. Then if you camp after doing that it unlocks a side mission. I had snagged the machete off one of the original guys, so the side mission involved a lot of fire bottles, and a machete. It was :censored: biblical, mate. Felt like Alfie...

I went back through there later and triggered a side mission with a random guy camping off the road said his residence was overrun by the night people. I helped him out and killed about 6-7 of them. I was actually expecting it to be a trap.

Did the Aberdeen farm one last night. Felt very Harold and Kumar escape from Guantanamoish. Kept waiting for the deformed kid to come out of the basement after I killed them to get my money back

Yeah, that's the one I was talking about. And yeah, I had my eye on the old cajun guy until the minute the night folk appeared at his cabin.

I just did that one last night. Kept thinking he's gonna get ambushed and I'll have to react fast to kill them before he dies. I died a couple times in his house due to the nutter running in with a hatchet. Auto-aim kept dragging my gun to a guy behind him. Oh, and I got attacked by an alligator yesterday in the swamp when I went to get a skin off one I shot. I screamed like a little girl.

You guys got any tips for finding wolves? I was hunting a pack last night for an hour and couldn't get them to sit still, even when I tried calling and using predator bait. Finally just rode my horse around and shot them all as they came after me but the pelts were degraded.

I got nabbed by a Gator too. Same exact thing. My wife was watching. We both screamed.

I saved my game in the area with the geysers, a pack shows up and will chase anyone on horse back, but I can't get a clean headshot with a sniper when they're moving that quick. Calling has no effect. I could use a non-scoped gun and try to dead eye a head shot but when I did that last night they went from 3 star to 2 star pelts.

Get yourself the buck trinket. That’ll probably help.

I just got that one I think. I'm just gonna jump on when I get home and ride through the mountains with guns blazing at any wolf that's fearless enough to chase.

    Predator bait??

And what’s the best way to get a 3 star pelt? A 22? Or an arrow?

Improved arrow or rifle headshot. I can't even drop a coyote with the varmint rifle. Predator bait brings in 3-star fox but no wolves. I sniped a couple last night just for the hell of it, might use the pelts for something eventually.

awesome thanks. I know there are always a lot of wolves around lake Isabella too. And mount Hagen. Might be worth looking there.

It's funny, before I wanted their pelts for satchel upgrades I would just blast them away since they were everywhere. Now I'm like wtf where did they all go.

That’s how it always works. Just tell yourself you don’t care about them anymore. But say it convincingly then they will pop up.

Just like in GTA when you need to find a 4 door car for a mission. Only 2 doors driving around, but once you get your 4 door, they are everywhere.
