    That just made me realize how well RDR looked...but yes....RDR2 is insane.

    I think the graphics are great for both. There are only two things that bother me aesthetically about RDR and those things are John's walk and the dogs in the game.

    It's hard for me to look at RDR and think "ah these graphics are shite."

    But I am guilty of playing some oldies, the kind where the music is midis and the systems are listed in bits on a old projection tv. HD really makes the oldies look like crap.

    Still trying to prolong the inevitable ending of single player but I've reached a point where my only choice is to continue the missions.

    Jumped in online mode for a bit to check it out. Not sure I'll get full bore into it. The money part seems way out of whack like you'll be forged into micro transactions just to keep up. I mean $34 bucks for a horse blanket? Won't even get into the tent upgrades.

    I've been playing it about five hours now. Lots of assholes shooting you in town, corpses just disappear before looting/skinning, and I keep getting error messages that kick me and lose progress. Def a beta

    Right, and a whopping $9 for killing 75 people in a fort. Online is exactly what I thought it'd be. Until the beta is done and they come out with private servers (or even consequences for being a douche) I won't be online.

    The whole reason I play is to play with friends, not grief other players.

    Wild west blah blah, it wasn't a damned war zone. People were probably more civil then than they are now.


    Why is the only progression for you is to do missions? Are you out of side things to do?

    Oh I didn't say one was bad, in fact it was great for 8 years ago but two is so much better. Not only the graphics but the improvements in character movements, facial details etc. I love the way games have involved since the days of sticking quarters in a machine to play Asteroids. Look at how Laura Croft has progressed over the years.
