I'm in the story line just after the coach robbery/manhunt. Gotta make this game last till RDR3 comes out

I find that if you have about $2K+ in the game, having lots of money doesn't matter much.

 

Single player=correct. Online Beta version shit was crazy expensive.

 

Rockstar said it's possible to catch it but to my knowledge no one has. A lot of people experimented with putting pigs in the water since Gill hooked it on bacon. Since I finished the story I've just been playing online, hoping they add legendaries to it soon. Right now fishing is the easiest way to make money, $4.50 per salmon/steelhead and you can catch both within the same area.

 

Holy hell, that's generous of them. I banked up $1k in the last few days since I figured they'd be dropping gun prices. Sounds like they'll be nerfing the fish/pelt payout so I'm gonna fish it up tonight before the update hits, if it hasn't already.

Just finished the epilogue. The best game I've ever played. Such great character detail and story line. It was everything I was hoping far cry 5 would be only 100x better.

I think it's a channel cat, once you catch all the fish for the initial quest you meet with Jeremy and go fishing. It's fun, definitely worth completing

Damn, just finished chapter 6. That was a damn good game.

 

How’s everyone getting along in the online game? I’ve only put maybe an hour in so far. The cut scenes are weird since your character doesn’t talk. Makes him/her seem a little off.

 

I can’t even get past the first mission of stealing the horses because the people I matchmake with are too busy killing themselves or going off and abandoning the mission. I wonder if they’ll add some generic voice acting when it comes out of beta? I think it’s neat that the online mode has somewhat of a story though, I don’t remember the first game online having any story at all.

 

I've sunk some time into it, level 19. Showdown is tricky to win without a posse and varmint rifle is overpowered as hell. Questing is buggy and so is hunting, you randomly lose pelts when joining a mission or getting disconnected. It's got a lot of potential, just needs polishing and more content

 

Holy smokes now I get why everyone was complaining about the prices of everything for online.

Questions though, do you lose/gain weight like the story mode? Do you have to sleep like story mode too? And is the full map unlocked right away?

 

Chances are the voice overs will never happen for online. GTAV didn't use it and they are farming up so much money, they probably wont bother with this one either. I've only played the first mission but that's because I havent scratched the surface of single player.

I found a lame bug with the Scout Jacket. The textures seem to disappear when the lighting changes. Apparently others have the issue as well.
