Red Dead Redemption 2

My favorite little detail was seeing how the journal entries are written depending on if it was encountered before/after story completion. The drawings and sketches especially.

 

I'd have to check again after online came out but before online I know I was in the 75-80% total completion range. It is probably higher now that I have finished the story, plus all dinosaur bones, all rock carvings, half the cigarette card packs and a few others

 

Well shit, now that you mention it, I don't have all the bones or carvings. Guess I'll keep chipping away at it some more before playing last of us again.

I gave an educational lecture on Queensbury rules with Gavin's friend last night because he was irritating me.

 

This map was a huge help, honestly would never have found 80% of the stuff if you just roamed around for 100's of hours on your own.

The replay value is one of the many reasons RD2 is great. I got like 85% completion on the first game. I just couldn't complete all of the gambling challenges.

 

I'm at 97% complete right now

 

Played a little bit last night checked completion at 95% that last 5% will probably take just as long to get as the first 95%

 

So I just figured out my error. I was going by my trophy collection on my PSN profile (which is now at 45%). Half of the trophies involve online tasks or missions which is why I hoped to get to 50% at most.
Actual in-game completion, I have 92%.

 

Mind blown....I hit 65% on the main story last night and discovered dynamite arrows. Life changed.

 

I'm at 98% of the main mission. I haven't gone back since I started playing online.
I just rolled up to level 17 tonight. Health 8, Stamina 10, Dead Eye 7.

 

My wife got me the new-ish Spiderman game for PS4 for my birthday. I have been playing for a few hours per week. It's a nice change from RDR2. Movements, combat, etc are fluid and fun. Giant open world is a major plus, and main storyline is pretty good. It will be hard going back to the slower pace and clunky controls of RDR2, but I really want to complete the game, and I miss the awesome scenery.

 

I found a great fishing spot for Red Dead 2 online. You can pull them out of the water as quick as you can cast. It also gives you +10 health for every fish caught. Far end of the river in West Elisabeth just before you get to the snowline. It works nigh or day. Just use bread bait. After a while walk around and collect all the fish that beached themselves in the area.

 

Havent played in a bit, went back to playing Gran Turismo Sport. Got tired of picking orchids for the side mission

 

BRB, gonna start camping just up the hill with a bolt gun.

 

Just gotta finish a few of the challenges and I'll be at 100% completion

I finally saved up enough for a Rolling block with a long scope, rifled barrel and wrapped stalk.

two days until they finally update it.

I went back and finished all the dinosour bones and dreamcatchers.

 

I still need to go back and try online. I only played the first day it was out.

Some videos popped up on suggested YouTube today. Made me miss the game.

 

Played some more the last few nights, still working on 100% completion. Finished all the cigarette card packs and the Algeron (orchid missions). I'm at like 36 of 43 for the pick one of each type of plant challenge. The last 7 are probably gonna be tough to figure out. Still not sold on the online functionality.
