I believe I have the only regular cab I4 tacoma in the southern states. The wife and I just got back from Alabama and made note of the Tacomas we saw. Only ones we saw the entire time were Access cabs or double cabs TRD, TSS, or prerunners.

I'm not one that's going to be hauling a bunch of people around or doing serious off roading so I'm not worried about all that but, what's wrong with the single cabs

Same here. I also had a single cab Ranger, but I did not have children at the time. Then came the kids and I had to upgrade to double cab. The extra space is nice to have, even without the kids.

There are many out there. Most of them are white, being used to run parts for parts stores, or glass windows for cars

i had a regular cab dodge once upon a time and I loved the look but not having storage is annoying. the cab heats up and cools down so fast that i was always adjusting the knobs. it was especially irritating just going to the gym with a friend. both of us and our bags didn't fit too well. but that's just me. a regular cab doesn't fit my life style but for those it does im glad it can be bought
