Red Katzkin Leather - Am I crazy?

Agreed. I was thinking the same, either Cardinal or Medium Red based on Katzkin's color selector.

 

Go that way......REALLY fast. If something gets in your way........Turn.

 

The bright side is if things get tough financially you can moonlight as a weinermobile delivery truck

I saw a guy get hosed by the Popo for speeding and making a left on a "pinkish" traffic signal. He was tight behind me. It was a pretty damned gunny sight and I turned around to watch. So did every other car on the road! It was probably because of the red seats.

 

get something that blends in with the oem interior colors and doesn't scream aftermarket...

Yes, this was my original plan. Katskin has a color called Pumice that very closely resembles the cement color in the cloth seats. If I play it safe, I'm going with that color. I am not a fan of dark interiors, and black leather gets too hot for me.

Red leather should have been standard on Electric Lime Green.

 

I actually think the electric lime trucks should of come with green dash trim and seat stitching like you could get the inferno trim/stitching a few years back.

 

Pro series entire interior including headliner, carpet, seats, and dash should be the same color as the exterior, but some what muted like as interiors aren't made of steal. Keep the stearing wheel/column consel and a portion of the door panels black, or what ever would work for a cohesive look.

 

Now that would certainly set the Pro apart from the rest.

I had Imola Red interior in my e46 m3. Not my car but you get the idea- its a bit darker than straight primary red. That's where it's at with the red interiors imo.

 

I loved the Katskinz I put in my ‘05. I wish I had picked a fun colour. I look for boring in my lawyers and accountants…

 

I say yes, too! However, use white stitching or some other color that plays off the interior trim
