Red vs white gauge cluster needles

That is what I was thinking, they are incredibly delicate. Better off swapping the whole cluster. Not even sure it is worth the effort just for a color change. Have pulled dashes apart in the past, kind of a pain in ass and I always break a tab or something with my hams for hands.

 

I figured they would be keyed, not splined to where it would go back inaccurately. Obviously not going to test that out on my stock cluster but considered doing so on an eBay cluster.

I don’t want to swap the cluster because that’s a whole can of worms what with options, trim, transmission, and odometer accuracy.

 

Just cut the plastic window off, paint them red with nail polish, and fuse the plastic window back on with a bead of clear silicone. Easy. Don’t overthink it.
