So Im wanting new wheels and tires and think the regular old black or gunmetal just look a little too subdued on the Silver Sky. What are ya'll opinions on these red Fuel Coverts on silver?

    for being different

It's definitely a unique look and can look good (IMO), depending on what your plans are for the rest of the truck. If you're going to make a statement with the wheels, then you shouldn't go throwing every other red accessory on the truck (shackles, badges, stickers, etc). Let the accent color be an "accent" and not "the color" of your truck. That... AND you'll never get another red that matches them well enough.

If you like the idea, go for it. If it looks bad to you, then sell them off. It's only money :spending::D

Over the top, yes. But that’s ok. If you like it, do it. It’s your truck

Agree with this. Yes, over the top. But interesting and different. I don’t think I’d do that unless I had 2 or more sets that could be rotated. But, go for it if it strikes you.

My vote is for inverting the black/red if that's possible, that way you can add as much red accessories (shackles, badges, stickers, etc.). and it not be overdone.

Go for it if you like it.. No reason you have to go with the same wheels as everyone else.

Plan is minimal for the truck. Nice set of wheels and tires, tint the windows, and either get silver caps for the rear bumper to get rid of the chrome, or a black off-road bumper. Probably wrap it all up with a pro grille and call it a day. No lift or anything. Heres a couple pics for reference. I realize they are jeeps and some wheels models are different, but you get the gist.

I think the red in the single pic makes it look a lot brighter than it actually is. The pics on the jeeps make it look a little more candy and dark.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I’d do it. Edit: saw a blue Cadillac sedan today with blue rims

I do agree that maybe a black with red beadlock may tone it down.
