For those of you who use the Redarc Tow Pro Elite, where did you put the dial and the unit?

With regards to the dial, did you mount it permanently? If not, where does it live?

If you did mount it permanently, just how permanently did you do it? For instance, did you drill a hole in your console or dash (as I've seen in some pictures) to accommodate the dial, or were you able to put it in a switch plate that could easily be replaced later?

With regards to the unit, did you have any trouble finding room behind the dash? Where did you end up putting it?

    Thanks in advance.

There's a dedicated towing forum here, you may move or post there, I'd think you would get more/better info.
    Good luck

Redarc brake controller in Caliraised panel with 2 extra switches, Accessorides remote start. Leer Topper w/ Rhino Rack
Here is my install. I used a plate from Caliraised to mount it. Took a little trimmimg of the plate to mount the controller. Everything fit fine below the steering column. Works great!

I drilled a hole in the factory blank cover and slightly modified it to fit perfectly.

Redarc sells a switch plate that looks like the oem with the holes already cut perfectly.

There’s also this backing plate with a hole for the dial. Ignore my empty slots.... getting ready for additional lighting. I really like this brake controller.

When I installed my RedArc in my Gen2 I just cut up the back of one of the blank plates in the center console, under the HVAC stuff. I recently got a 3D printer and when my brother-in-law got a Gen3 and got a RedArc controller I designed and printed him a plate to fit the controller head better.

I loaded it onto Thingiverse so if anyone else wants it then here it is https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4202925

In the Gen3 I know it fits here

Here are pics of the v2 I designed, when fit checking it I realized the tabs out the back aren't needed.
